At the International Salon of Publishing and Books (SIEL 2024) in Rabat, the “Solidarity” pavilion was dedicated to the victims and survivors of the Al Haouz earthquake that occurred on September 8, 2023, which killed 2,946 people and injured 5,674 others.

Visitors are encouraged to donate books to children in the affected area, promoting imagination and hope for the future. The initiative continues until SIEL ends on May 19.
