Emerald Bay partners with Arrowhead to launch commercial seismic facility

Emerald Bay Risk Solutions, a collaborative underwriter, has entered into a strategic partnership with Arrowhead to launch a commercial seismic facility called Arrowhead EQ DIC, which will provide different-in-conditions (DIC) insurance policies to medium and large companies.

If you recall, Emerald Bay Risk Solutions was launched in March of this year, with a major strategic investment from Bain Capital Insurance, Bain Capital's dedicated insurance investment unit.

From what we understand, Arrowhead EQ DIC will primarily target companies based in California and the Pacific Northwest, with the ability to deliver in excess of $250 million through its long-standing relationships with a number of carrier partners and a focus on disciplined underwriting.

In addition, the entity's main reinsurers include a group of major companies, all of which hold a rating of A- or better from global rating agency AM Best.
