A 3.0 magnitude earthquake strikes Kunnamkulam-Guruvayur district

Thrissur: A minor earthquake measuring 3.0 on the Richter scale was felt in Kunnamkulam-Guruvayur area of ​​Thrissur district on Saturday morning.

The tremor occurred around 8:15 a.m. and was minor shaking. Eyewitnesses reported that the tremor lasted about four seconds. No destruction was reported in the area, but the shaking caused panic among residents, prompting many to flee their homes.

Geetha, a resident of Kunnamkulam, narrated her experience: “We heard a loud noise initially, followed by vibrations under our feet.
