ADM Kashiram Badole said: “The local meteorological department reported that the intensity of the tremors was 3.6. It was limited to shaking only. No damage was reported.

Ganesh Gurbani, who lives in Padamnagar, Khandwa, says the quake created cracks in the wall of his house.

People came out when they felt the shaking.

Contractor Jitendra Singh Savner, a resident of Hanuman Nagar, Khandwa, said: “I was sitting on the bed around 9 am, when suddenly there was a shaking. The windows and doors of the house started shaking. I understood that these were earthquakes. I got down and went out of the house with my wife. People from the area had already gathered outside as the tremors were felt.
