The ground was literally shaking as Afghanistan celebrated its seismic T20 World Cup victory over Australia, with the Arnos Vale Ground being hit by minor earth tremors on Sunday afternoon AEST.

Moments after the final delivery of Afghanistan's historic 21-run victory over Australia, an earthquake measuring 6.2 on the Richter scale struck an area 97 kilometers northwest of Port of Spain in Trinidad, and its reverberations were long felt in St. Vincent and northeastern Guyana.

There is currently no tsunami threat, or reports of damage or injuries, but power outages have been reported in northwest Trinidad in Santa Cruz and Goodwood.

Cricket journalists were told to stay away from windows as the press box shook during the ordeal.
