Last night’s stormy weather turned things up a bit and brought some rain. The Illinois Valley Regional Airport in Peru reported about an inch and a half of rain. There was also a couple inches of rain reported north of Demick. A listener in Spring Valley texted WLPO that a neighbor’s boat had drifted across the driveway. Peru Mayor Ken Kolowski was up all night tracking power lines in his city and posting updates on Facebook. Most service has been restored.
