Shock waves felt by Texas residents after 4.9 magnitude earthquake

A 4.9-magnitude earthquake struck late Monday night, centered west of Abilene, near Hermle, Texas.

It wasn't just an initial earthquake, it also triggered two additional aftershocks, each measuring about 3.1 magnitude.

Residents of Amarillo to the north and Austin to the south felt aftershocks, with more aftershocks continuing into Tuesday morning.

Fortunately, no injuries or damage have been reported so far.
