Travis Scott's Milan Concert Is Mistaken by Locals for Earthquake

Travis Scott wants to shake the world every time he takes to the stage. On Tuesday, Milan hosted La Flame's European concert as part of his Circus Maximus tour, and the 80,000 people in attendance raised fears of an earthquake in Italy.

Scott rocked the open-air hall of the Ippodromo Snai La Maura in Milan, and the citizens thought the tectonic plates were shaking after he performed his anthem “FE! N” eight times in a row, according to Il Messaggero.

While the National Institute of Geophysics and Volcanology did not report any earthquakes in Milan, X users complained about the vibrations. One asked in Italian: “Am I the only one who heard #Terremoto in Milan,” while another added: “Am I the only one who felt three strong tremors from #Terremoto in Milan?”

La Flame posted aerial footage of the wild scene, which featured a sea of ​​people, phone lights and pockets of mosh pits from above as his anger sent him into a frenzy.

“Last night was a dream. ‘No, this is not a festival. This is a show on tour,’ as Stromberg put it,” Scott wrote on Instagram. “Milan, you don’t owe me anything. You all gave me 80k of you and we had the best time ever. Circus Maximus. @whitetrashtyler was actually upset about this.”

This isn't the first time Travis' show has been confused with an earthquake in Italy. Reports surfaced last year of rumors of earthquakes during Scott's June 2023 show at the same venue.

Circus Maximus' European tour continues through the rest of July with two shows in Germany and then two more in Spain to close out the month.

Scott's world tour has just begun, with the “SICKO MODE” rapper heading to South America for a series of shows in September. He'll return to the U.S. for a solo show at MetLife Stadium in New Jersey on Oct. 9 before heading to Australia/New Zealand to wrap up his trek.

There's music on the way from the Houston native, as Scott is set to appear on Ice Spice's debut album Y2K! out Friday (July 26). Trav and the “Deli” rapper collaborated on a song called “Oh Shhh…”
