Earlier this week it was announced that standing price tickets to Cardiff, London and Edinburgh are £135 plus fees. But angry fans claimed online that Ticketmaster's 'on demand' had raised the price to £355 plus fees. Ticketmaster said they do not set ticket prices. A link on its website states: “Ticket prices are set by promoters and artists. Prices can be fixed or market-based. Market-based tickets are labeled as 'Platinum' or 'In Demand'.” Ticketmaster has confirmed that fans are not getting anything else for the price increase. The Advertising Standards Authority (ASA) told the BBC it could not comment on Ticketmaster's pricing in this case. “We encourage anyone with concerns to contact us and we will carefully assess whether there are grounds for action,” an ASA spokesman said.
