Residents in parts of Albuquerque and Rio Rancho felt an earthquake Tuesday. According to the U.S. Geological Survey, a magnitude 2.5 earthquake was recorded near Double Eagle Airport. The quake was recorded at a depth of 10.1 km (6.3 miles) below the surface. Data from the USGS shows the quake was felt in Rio Rancho and parts of northwest Albuquerque. Mild shaking was reported and no damage was reported.
