Bremerton, WA was hit with the second earthquake in two days

BREMERTON, Wash. – Three earthquakes hit the Puget Sound region in less than a week; Two earthquakes struck Bremerton in two days.

On October 1, an earthquake occurred in the Bremerton area, just 52 hours after the first earthquake on Sunday and less than a week after a 4.0 magnitude quake near Victoria.

A 2.7 magnitude earthquake occurred beneath the city of Bremerton at 10:49 a.m. Tuesday. Did you feel it? If so, you can report it on this USGS page.

On Sunday, September 29, an earthquake measuring 3.0 on the Richter scale struck the same area shortly before 8 a.m.

Both reached a depth of about 16 miles.
