The North China Tectonic Zone is the most seismically active area in eastern China, where a large number of strong earthquakes have occurred, especially those of M8 or so. In order to study the risk of future strong earthquakes in the North China Tectonic Zone, we study the time series characteristics of Ms ≥ 5 earthquakes since 1484. Based on the similarity of the time series characteristics and tectonic features of deep and shallow tectonics pattern of strong earthquakes, the 14 seismic segments are classified into types Major seismicity and multiple seismic types. Characteristics of the main seismic section include: Main seismic faults of the NNE dextral type Only one prominent shock has occurred around the M8 main shock since 1484, and most of the deep and large faults cutting the Moho surface lie below the main earthquakes. At high angle, there is a phenomenon of inconsistency between shallow and deep tectonics such as flower structures. Multiple seismic type features consist of north-north-east oriented strike-slip faults, NE-oriented tensile faults, partially NW-oriented dextral strike-slip faults, or are convergence zones of several sets of faults since 1484, more than two major earthquakes often occur with small differences. in size in each active period, most of which were no larger than M7.0. Finally, in addition to the relationship between the rupture zone and the principal compressive stress field, we analyze the strong earthquake generation characteristics of similar seismic sections and discuss their strong earthquake generation patterns.
