Democratic presidential candidate Joe Biden has nominated Senator Kamala Harris as his running mate. As a rival for the top job, the California senator, who had heritage from India and Jamaica, has long been considered for the second-number slot. The former California attorney general has called for police reform in protests against national racism. Mr. Biden will face President Donald Trump in the Nov. 3 election. Ms. Harris will address Trump Path President Mike Pence on October 7 in Salt Lake City, Utah. Only two other women have been nominated for the presidency – Sarah Palin in the 2008 Republican Party and Democrat Geraldine Ferraro in 1984 have not even run for the White House. The woman of color has never been nominated for a presidential card between the two major political parties in America.
