NEW DELHI – After a 7.4-magnitude earthquake devastated Vanuatu on December 17, 2024, India pledged $500,000 in relief aid. The earthquake, whose epicenter was near the coast of Vanuatu in the South Pacific Ocean, caused great destruction and loss of life. India expressed its condolences and offered its support to the government and people of Vanuatu in the relief, rehabilitation and reconstruction efforts.
