More than 100 aftershocks of the 6.3 earthquake in El Salvador

The devastating event was reported on Sunday around noon off the coast of La Paz province, and since then the movements have continued with a magnitude of 4.9 on the scale.

After Sunday's setback, some Salvadorans expressed fears of a tremor greater than 7 magnitude, due to frequent tremors reported in the national territory, including La Union province, where more than 1,500 aftershocks have been reported since December 8.
