Israel and the US have reached a historic agreement to normalize relations – BBC News
Israel and the United Arab Emirates have agreed to normalize relations, US President Donald Trump has reported. Trump, Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu and Abu Dhabi Crown Prince Mohammed Al Nahyan said they hope “historic progress will make peace in the Middle East.” As a result, they added that Israel would suspend its controversial plans by adding parts of the occupied West Bank. Until now, Israel had no diplomatic relations with the Arab countries of the Gulf. However, shared concerns about Iran’s impact on the region have led to official relations between them. In response to President Trump’s statement, Mr. Netanyahu wrote in Hebrew, “Historic Day.” Subscribe HERE .
