At least 43 Palestinians have been killed and 2,200 Israeli troops wounded, Palestinian officials say is the deadliest violence since the 2014 Gaza war.
The violence occurred when the US opened the embassy in Jerusalem, a move that has angered Palestinians.
The US backs Israeli rule throughout the city, claiming it was an East Palestinian.
But US President Donald Trump has hit the video in a message.
He said the dedication ceremony had been “a long time coming,” and added, “Israel is a leading nation with the right to determine its capital, but for many years we did not recognize it.”
