The earthquake shows “Map of shake”

Boston – The earthquake can be felt off the coast of Maine today in Boston and hundreds of miles away from Connecticut and Vermont, according to a “shake map” of the United States's geological survey.

The map shows that the majority of reports were concentrated on the northern beach of Massachusetts, southeast New Hampshire and South Maine, where the 3.8 earthquake center signed about six miles from York Port at 10:22 am

It seems that there are some of the holes that I felt in the East New York State around Albani, as the map showed.

John Il at Weston Observatory told WBZ-TV that an earthquake of this size occurs almost once every four or five years in the region.

“I am still shaking,” a woman commented on the York Beach Fire page/saving Facebook. “I felt it was under my house. I am about 3 miles away from the port.”

A Kigger resident described the earthquake as “huge and loud.”

“She shook the house and cabinets,” commented in response to a Facebook post to the York Fire Department. “We thought a plane crashed nearby.”
