Thousands of Greek Santorini have escaped after they shook hundreds of earthquakes Aegean in recent days.

Families carrying young children, tourists who were carrying their bags, and parking lots of vehicles belonging to those who left on board all were common scenes.

In the main town of Vera in Santorini, the narrow, bleak streets were deserted – a rare scene even in its season – regardless of the small pockets of tourist groups.

Hundreds of shakes shook the islands, some of which are strong like 5, since Friday.

He added that there was no contact with the sleeper volcanoes in the area.

Retired police officer and shipped shiphotis hatzigeorgiou, who lived in Santorini for more than 30 years, said he refused offers to stay with their relatives in Athens.

In Athens, government officials were holding daily planning and evaluation meetings, with Al -Jazeera officials.

Joseph Liu, from Guangzhou, southern China, said he spent years wanting to visit Santorini after seeing a documentary.
