The earthquake discovered about 40 miles southwest

Whatscom County, Wash. Seismologists reported with the Northwest Saliphiya Network in the Pacific Ocean (PSNS) that an earthquake was discovered at approximately 10 pm yesterday, Thursday, February 14, 2025, about 10 miles south of Victoria, BC, under the Strait of Juan de Voca. The center of mile was about 40 miles southwest of Watom Province.

The earthquake was designed as a size of 3.7 and the deepening of the earthquake center is about 25 miles.

The 3.7 earthquake is a “weak earthquake”. Seismic may be felt in this domain locally and it is not expected to cause damage.
