Another earthquake shakes Vancouver Island late on Wednesday afternoon

For the fourth time in just three weeks, Victoria's Great residents reported their shaking of an earthquake that arose across the border in Washington.

The last earthquake, which struck Wednesday, 5 March, was 4:24 pm, was 3.9 in size, and was located about 30 km southeast of Port Angeles, Washington.

Port Angeles itself is about 35 km south of Victoria, and although the earthquake occurred at a depth of about 43 km, its effects are still perceived throughout the region.

Dozens of Victoria Bodes job reported that they felt trembling, including Victoria, Suk and Suk residents.

This last earthquake comes just days after another earthquake that shook the area early Monday morning, March 3.
