Firefighters rescued a woman in Bozwouli after the ceiling collapsed at her home, while the Bagnoli rescuers worked to liberate people trapped in their homes, where some residents climb the windows, according to ANSA news agency.

The local authorities said that schools will be closed in Bouzououli, Bakuli and Bagnoli on Thursday as a precautionary measure.

The mayor of Baculi Jose Gerardo Della Rajoun, who wrote on social media, urged the local population to “adhere to calm” and obtain their information and updates from official channels.
