ATTANTA – A small earthquake was reported early this morning in Georgia by the American Geological Survey.

According to USGs, the earthquake was hit at 3:26 am about 4 miles to the west of Pimberruck, which is about three hours southeast of Atlanta and 35 miles to the west of Savanna.

The earthquake was 2.4 and a depth of 4.6 km.

Earthquakes are not unusual in Georgia.
