Every street I remember in the book is real, most of the places I describe are real. I should write the scene only without worrying about it. At this stage, I had an agent and a second child on the way. The truth is that I simply did not have time for mania.

When the world collapses around us, we actually realize the amount of modern life that isolates us and our trust, and we get an opportunity to experience something more effective and meaningful.

But again and again, I sat to write and found that I could not. I thought about all the people who lived in these homes, in this neighborhood. How can I think this is a presentation of the destruction of real homes and real life? I ended up spending the best part of a week in the search through old reconnaissance documents before I gave up and finally a student student to research the case.

For me personally, what started as the two self -protection devices turned into a deep commitment to trying to help my city prepare for this disaster.
