A powerful earthquake struck Southeast Asia on Friday, killing more than 140 people in Myanmar and wounding hundreds, as the authorities in Thailand looked for dozens of people trapped under the rubble of a skyscraper in Bangkok.

The 7.7 -size earthquake – stationed in Myanmar – hit at lunch time and is followed by several tremors, including 6.4 thin tremors.

The country's military prime minister said, warning that at least 144 people in Myanmar were killed and injured 732 people. A lot of destruction occurred in Mandalay, the second largest city in the country.
