It is unlikely. You are not entitled to recover under the travel regulations in a package in the absence of advice in the Ministry of Foreign Affairs against the non -basic travel. If you reserve your journey directly, it is possible that the return of the money is only if your journey is canceled or the accommodation places are closed in light of the turmoil due to the earthquake.
If you are concerned about a coming trip to Thailand and booked it with a travel agent or a playing player, it is recommended that you contact them to discuss your options. If you cancel your journey yourself, this can be considered “dismantling to travel”, which may leave you outside your pocket.
• Compensation for canceled and late flights
Am I covered with my travel insurance?
It is usually possible, with more expensive policies, you may be covered for disorder, cancellation or reduction due to earthquakes. The amount of cover, if any, will vary depending on the policy. Conditions usually stipulate that any disturbance should be unexpected when purchasing your policy or booked your journey, which was later. It is necessary to review the terms and conditions of the document.
