At least 2,700 people were killed in the Myanmar earth
More than 2,700 people have been killed in the Myanmar earthquake disaster, with survivors now in urgent need of food, water and shelter, as relief groups warn of the window against finding people who are still alive were closing quickly.
The country's military ruler, Main Ong Haling, said that the earthquake on Friday-7.7 is expected to exceed 3000, after it reached 2719 on Tuesday, with 4,521 people injured and 441 people.
In his televised speech, he talked about the “learned lessons” and criticized the poor quality of construction.
“Some buildings were built at a cheap price, without spending enough money on them,” he said.
The earthquake was the strongest to hit the country for more than a century, which caused great damage to the second city of Myanmar, Mandalay, the capital, and NayPyitaw.

In the neighboring Thailand, where the earthquake caused hundreds of buildings damage, the number of people who were killed increased to 21.
Rescuers continued to search for life in the ruins of the skyscraper, collapsed in the capital, Bangkok, but the time recognized was against them.
In Myanmar, United Nations agencies said that hospitals were mired in the efforts and rescue of the damage of the country's infrastructure and civil war.
The alarm relief groups were raised due to lack of food, water and sanitation, as the final tremors continued in Hasrjja.

Julia Reese, of the United Nations for UNICEF, who has just returned from one of the worst affected areas near the earthquake center in central Myanmar, said the entire societies were obedient, and the psychological shock was enormous.
“This crisis is still revealing,” she said in a statement.
“Allow me to be clear: the needs are huge, and they rise in the hour. The window of life -saving response is closed.”
Several United Nations agencies have sparked a warning about a lack of drinking water, with cholera fears spread.
“It is really comfortable – the most urgent need is water, it's very hot there … water pipes and sewage tanks have been broken.”
The World Health Organization said that hospitals are sunk and that medical supplies are running out, and that there is a shortage of running water and fuel.

The United Nations Refugee Agency, the United Nations High Commissioner for Refugees, has identified the situation as a higher level of humanitarian crisis and filling stocks such as plastic panels, sleeping materials and mosquitoes.
Unni Krishnan told Plan International the ABC's The World his organization focusing on providing food, water and shelter, but he was also looking to provide mental health support for those in the country, especially children.
“Hundreds of thousands of children will sleep outdoors without a roof over their head,” said Mr. Kishnan, noting that many were in fear of wireless tremors, which continue to cut parts of the country.
“With the passage of every day, these symptoms and anxiety, which are normal reactions to an abnormal situation, will start out of control.
“Even fear of wireless tremor will amplify children's fears.”
In the Mandalay area, 50 children and teachers were killed when pre -school collapsed.
In a rare survival story, a 63 -year -old woman was withdrawn from the ruins of a building in NayPyitaw after she was trapped for 91 hours.
It was found on Tuesday morning and withdrew an hour later, the Myanmar Fire Department said, after a joint rescue with teams from India, China and Russia.
Civil war is complicated by the war effort
The civil war in Myanmar, where the army seized power in a coup in 2021, complicated efforts to reach the injured and made the homeless, including narrow controls on the Internet and other communication networks.
Aid is struggling to reach most of the needy after the Myanmar earthquake
One of the rebel group, the Karen National Union, said on Sunday that the military council conducted air strikes in the east of the country at a time when it should give the priorities of relief efforts in the earthquake.
“Myanmar” was facing a catastrophe “worsened by the brutal military council, which seems to intend to increase human suffering,” Patrick Fongsathorne, a great advocacy specialist at Fortify Rights, told ABC The World Myanmar.
“The past years of brutal civil war did not help in terms of the country's flexibility to withstand such an emergency,” said Mr. Fongsathorne.
“What we see now is to politicize humanitarian aid and continuous attacks against civilians by military and artillery aircraft.
“It is a really desperate situation.”

He said that the international community needs to call for an immediate ceasefire to ensure people get the assistance they deserve.
“Without a ceasefire, I don't really understand how the Dutch people can do their work to provide humanitarian aid,” he said.
“It will make it more difficult and more dangerous to them to do so, especially for the areas where the military council does not control, which is a large percentage of the country.”
The Muslim Brotherhood’s Alliance, an alliance of rebel groups that were in war with JUNTA, announced a unilateral ceasefire on Tuesday, to allow urgent humanitarian efforts, “to be implemented quickly and effectively as possible.”
Junta has not yet commented on the coalition decision.
Download … Rescue efforts continue in Thailand
In the capital of Thailand, Bangkok, rescuers were still looking for any signs of life in the ruins of an incomplete skyscraper that collapsed.
There were 70 bodies under the rubble, and experts said that 12 had been identified using light scanners, but the large debris prevented the road and the rescuers were cutting concrete panels to remove them.
What we know about the earthquake in Myanmar
“Our focus is to survive. There are cases where people have survived for one week,” Bangkok Castrasttestone's governor told reporters.
“We cannot say that there is no hope … if there is a structure, air, no direct heat. We will continue.”
Search and rescue efforts have been supported by multinational teams, including members of the United States and Israel, as family and friends said they are afraid of the worst.
“The rescue teams are doing their best. I can see it,” said 19 -year -old Artithap Lalod, who was waiting for his brother's news.
The government launched an investigation into the cause of the collapse, with the initial test of the steel used in questions that arouse construction about its quality.
Fourteen deaths were confirmed at the construction site and seven other places in the city.
