A 5.9 water earthquake was detected on Sunday morning, northeast of the city of Miktila, Myanmar.

It was attributed to the Sanaing error, which caused the March 28 earthquake in Myanmar, and felt in northern Thailand.

According to the Ministry of Mineral Resources and the Ministry of Meteorological, the 5.9 earthquake remained on the Richter scale and spoke 10 km underground at 9.24 am. The earthquake center was 271 km northwest from Mang County in Mai Hong North Hong in Thailand.

The Ministry of Mineral Resources said: “The earthquake was attributed to the right to slip.”

People felt the towering buildings in the northern provinces of Shiang May and Siang Rai with the earthquake.

A resident of Tambon Southi, from the Mouang County, Qiang May, reported that a lamp was shook and felt a tremor in a room on the seventh floor.

A resident of the second floor of a dormitory in the Moang area, Qiang Ray, said that the tremor was perceived in a bed and shook an electric fan even though it was turned off.

The earthquake monitoring division of the Meteorological Department of Thailand represents the Earthquake Center on Sunday on Google Maps.
