The size of 5.1 earthquake strikes the southern region of Oman

An earthquake measured 5.1 south of Amman on Sunday, according to the national seismic network stations at the National Meteorological Center.

The earthquake was hit at 2.32 pm local time at a depth of 8 km.

The earthquake mentioned that the UAE residents did not feel the population and had no influence in the region.

In the past few years, Oman recorded some earthquakes, with the most recent of them on October 21, 2023. At the same time, on June 7, the United Arab Emirates recorded a moderate earthquake of 2.1 on the border with Amman in the Al -Fakah area.
