The earthquake, which reached 4.4, hit Pakistan, no damage was reported

An earthquake of 4.4 Pakistan hit Wednesday night, days after the earthquake hit 5.8 in the area. Pakistan's error line position makes it very vulnerable to frequent and destructive earthquakes. According to the National Center for Seismology (NCS), the mild earthquake struck Pakistan at about 10 pm on Wednesday.

The tremor occurred at 21:58:26 IST, with its position in Latitude 31.08n and the length line 68.84e. The earthquake occurred at a depth of 50 km.

On April 12, it shook the 5.8 earthquake on the Richter scale on Saturday. According to NCS, the earthquake occurred at a shallow depth of 10 kilometers, which makes it vulnerable to final tremors.

Pakistan is among the most seismic activity, as it is located on top of the multiple major rift lines. This geological site makes the area very vulnerable to frequent and destructive earthquakes. This comes at a time when relations between India and Pakistan deteriorated sharply after Paalgam's terrorist attack, which killed 26 people, most of them tourists.

In the wake of the attack, the Indian government ordered the Pakistani citizens to leave the country. The guidance, which targets the individuals associated with Pakistan, came amid increasing security concerns. Those who hold Saarc visas were granted on April 26 to leave India, while Pakistani citizens were asked for medical visas to leave by April 29.
