Melbourne and Adelaid were shaken by earthquakes just hours away

Two main cities were shaken this morning, with separate earthquakes hit within hours.

Melbourne had an earthquake of 2.8, which hit around 12:30 am on Tuesday, with the earthquake center outside the Dandinong Mountain in the Olinda area.

Geoscience Australia laid the earthquake that originated at a depth of 5 km underground.

So far, 622 people have reported reports with the department, confirming that they felt the earthquake, with reports of JAM Jerrup in the south and Crigberren in the north.

Less than two hours later, at 2 am, a 2.7 earthquake was hit to the east of Adelaide.

The Epicalter Center is identified around the Nairne area, at a depth of 9 km.

Nearly 200 people have reported reports of an earthquake with Geoscience Australia, most of them in and around the city.

Adelaide and Melbourne are tested by earthquakes due to the movement of the Australian tectonic dish, which moves about 7 cm a year.

“Seismology in Australia is the result of slow stress in the inner part of the continent,” said Geoscience Australia.

“The pressure in these tectonic panels is launched during this movement as an earthquake.”

It was the largest registered earthquake in Australia in 1988 in Tennant Kreik in the northern region, with an estimated size of 6.6.
