An earthquake of 2.8 hit the size of the Washington Olympic Peninsula early Tuesday morning. The earthquake occurred at 2:18 am, according to the American Geological Survey, about 15.5 miles to the west of HoodSport, WA, between the central and southern parts of the peninsula.
