• Seven weeks, the effects of the earthquake continue on March 28 in central Myanmar to increase important human needs, both for immediate rest and early recovery.

• Many families remain increasing in temporary shelters or rental housing due to safety concerns, including the fear of returning to the homes offered by structurally, with a long -term sustainable refuge in the horizon.

• Despite the increasing risks due to unsafe drinking water and poor sanitation, no major disease outbreak was reported.

• The disorders in the food supply chains, health services and livelihoods reduce access to nutritious foods, especially for families already affected by poverty and displacement.

Nearly 50,9400 people (57 percent of the targeted population) still need food help.

• Cluster partners in NELER/NFI have reached more than 138,000 people with emergency NFI groups and more than 19800 people with the help of an emergency shelter in six states and affected areas.

• A flash added to the humanitarian needs and the response plan for 2025 on April 11 and called for 275 million US dollars to reach 1.1 million people with urgent help. As of May 16, only $ 44.2 million has been spent.
