The American Geological Reception said that a 6.2 -fill earthquake shook west and north of Venezuela on Wednesday.

The earthquake center was located at a depth of 7.8 km (4.8 miles), about 24 km (15 miles) from Min Grande.

About 600 km west of Caracas, Min Grande is an oil town in a few population in Zulia.
