Depression levels have doubled during the coronavirus pandemic – BBC News

 



The number of adults in the UK experiencing some levels of depression has doubled since the start of the coronavirus pandemic, the Office for National Statistics reported. According to a ten-month survey, one in five people reported symptoms of depression compared to those over the age of 10 before the pandemic.
