Warner Bros. Earthquake: Our comprehensive coverage
Richard Rushfield sounded the alarm early, often and largely alone about the dangers of Warner Bros.' possible disappearance. Over the past few weeks. This week, after David Zaslav officially announced that WBD is for sale, the rest of the media finally jumped into the fray.
From Friday's New York Times (also on the front page of the business section of today's print edition):
And after Richard's column this week asking why unions (or anyone else) aren't speaking up…
…this title came:
Sean McNulty and Leslie Goldberg also made two very smart must-reads about what increasingly looks (for now) the strongest possible outcome: Paramount Skydance CEO David Ellison wins WBD:
☀️WBD'S NETFLIX Tea LeavesSupermerger deal: Inside the deal that will finally give Netflix a real competitor
So why are the Saudis, Comcast and others competing for the World Bank? It is synonymous with best-in-class and quality library in the age of internet sludge. Last Saturday at the Montclair (N.J.) Film Festival, Richard, Sean, Christopher Rosen, and I helped celebrate the chief architect of Warner's record-breaking 2025 box office hit — star movie studio co-CEO Pam Abdi, a New Jersey native who received the festival's first-ever Vision Award — at an intimate private dinner with Stephen Colbert. and Evelyn McGee Colbert, and Bogonia screenwriter Will Tracy. Writer-director Richard LaGravenese and Kevin Ulrich of Anchorage Capital. Abdi has risen to the top of Hollywood thanks to her passion, determination, impeccable taste in originals, and smart IP choices — I'll take that cocktail any day.

Now, ICYMI, here are more of our best of the week:
In the age of 'skip the ad', unscripted producers, including Pantheon's Jennifer O'Connell and Hello Sunshine alum Sara Rea, tell Eileen Lo how brand funding helps budgets cross the finish line and get the green light – 'It's an answer to our prayers':
Ad money enters the pitching room: 'It's clear where we're headed'
Backed by CAA and Comcast Ventures, Bryn Mooser and co-founder Natasha Lyonne's Asteria has an AI-powered video model designed to protect intellectual property in the age of copyright chaos. Moser tells Eric Barmack why he has hope for the future of entertainment, if Hollywood is fighting for it:
Sora 2 shook Hollywood. This AI CEO is helping the industry 'take a stand fast'
With Warner's fate in the hands of markets and moguls, a night out with a still-defiant Bruce Springsteen — not to mention a social media video from Senator Elizabeth Warren about the dangers of further studio consolidation — left Richard inspired but also wondering: Where have all the loudmouths in Hollywood gone?
Springsteen, Elizabeth Warren, and the latest populists in Hollywood
If you're spending this weekend bingeing Nobody Wants This on Netflix, you've no doubt scored Season 2's soundtrack of original scores from the likes of Model Model to Selena Gomez. While much of the Ankler team was celebrating the film in Montclair, Katie Rich was in her own quintessential cinema heaven: the Middleburg Film Festival in Virginia. Katie gives a first-hand account of the success of Frankenstein and Hamnet and speaks to Nouvelle Vague star Zoe Deutch. Plus: What Prestige Junkie critics make of the best photo race right now:

Rushfield Lunch: Franklin Leonard, the first returning guest star in the series' history, offered his take on the sale of WBD and suggested that a (slight) amount of optimism might be warranted if Paramount prevails in the end:
Emergency pouch! Elaine, Sean, and Natalie Garvey analyze which suitors make sense, and whether the Paramount-Warner Bros. combination makes sense. It will add to the competition that Netflix has never had before, which WBD originals are the most enticing and fantasy style.

For more info and free online quotes, please visit https://compare-autoinsurance.Org/the-advantages-of-comparing-prices-with-car-insurance-quotes-online/ The modern society has numerous technological advantages. One important advantage is the speed at which information is sent and received. With the help of the internet, the shopping habits of many persons have drastically changed. The car insurance industry hasn't remained untouched by these changes. On the internet, drivers can compare insurance prices and find out which sellers have the best offers. View photos The advantages of comparing online car insurance quotes are the following: Online quotes can be obtained from anywhere and at any time. Unlike physical insurance agencies, websites don't have a specific schedule and they are available at any time. Drivers that have busy working schedules, can compare quotes from anywhere and at any time, even at midnight. Multiple choices. Almost all insurance providers, no matter if they are well-known brands or just local insurers, have an online presence. Online quotes will allow policyholders the chance to discover multiple insurance companies and check their prices. Drivers are no longer required to get quotes from just a few known insurance companies. Also, local and regional insurers can provide lower insurance rates for the same services. Accurate insurance estimates. Online quotes can only be accurate if the customers provide accurate and real info about their car models and driving history. Lying about past driving incidents can make the price estimates to be lower, but when dealing with an insurance company lying to them is useless. Usually, insurance companies will do research about a potential customer before granting him coverage. Online quotes can be sorted easily. Although drivers are recommended to not choose a policy just based on its price, drivers can easily sort quotes by insurance price. Using brokerage websites will allow drivers to get quotes from multiple insurers, thus making the comparison faster and easier.
