The study committee draws half a million students from the BTEC – BBC News

More than half a million young people have a new round of anxiety and confusion in tonight’s exams, the Pearson exam committee said the day before as BTec results were coming out. Pearson said this government has had a direct impact on the U-turn this week above the A level and GCSE grades. He said he was in danger of “disloyalty now compared to those with much greater results.” The company said BTec ratings would match Level A and GCSE. It means that about 250,000 young people who received the equivalent of the A-level BTEC last week have withdrawn their grades. Hundreds of thousands more students who expected immediate results, along with the GCSE, are not getting it. Pearson said the review will not lower grades.
