Recorded earthquake in Kingston, New Hampshire

A small earthquake was detected Tuesday morning in southern New Hampshire. According to the US Geological Survey, the 1.8-magnitude earthquake was centered 3 kilometers southwest of Kingston. The earthquake struck at 10:13 a.m. and there were no reports of damage or injuries. A small earthquake was detected Tuesday morning in southern New Hampshire.

According to the US Geological Survey, the 1.8-magnitude earthquake was centered 3 kilometers southwest of Kingston. It rocked at 10:13am

There were no reports of damage or injuries.

Danville police said they received calls from people about a large “boom” they felt around the time of the quake.

This earthquake comes after a few minor tremors have been detected in the past few months, including an earthquake that occurred earlier this month in Webster.

Of course, many will not soon forget the earthquake that rocked New Hampshire in January, when a 3.8-magnitude quake with its epicenter off Portsmouth struck at 10:22 a.m. on January 27.
