The embassy informed Myanmar citizens residing in Japan that they may contribute any amount to the renovation of these temples.

The embassy said well-wishers living abroad who wish to contribute – either individually, as a family or as a group – to a particular temple, can contact Daw Nilar Ai (tel: 09-4207 14760), director of the Ministry of Religious Affairs and Culture.
