A 7.4-magnitude earthquake hits Indonesia, triggering a tsunami warning Earthquakes
The US Geological Survey (USGS) said that a 7.4 magnitude earthquake struck the northern Molucca Sea area in Indonesia.
The US Geological Survey said the quake, which occurred early Thursday local time, was at a depth of 35 kilometers and was centered 127 kilometers (79 miles) west-northwest of Ternate, Indonesia.
