Japan earthquake raises concerns about mega-thrust and tsunami risks at top resorts in Bali

Officials at Bali’s Meteorology, Climatology and Geophysics Agency issued additional warnings to mitigate the risk of a strong earthquake hitting the island.

The new round of warnings is particularly poignant as Japan suspended tsunami warnings following a 7.7-magnitude earthquake on Monday, April 20.
