Prime Minister Keir Starmer has vowed to do all he can to stamp out anti-Semitic hatred, pleading with people to “open their eyes to Jewish pain, Jewish suffering and Jewish fear”. Starmer was heckled when he visited Golders Green on Thursday evening. The alleged attacker, 45-year-old Essa Suleiman, was briefly caught in The Met’s extremist network and there are now questions about the Prevent program after it emerged the suspect was targeted 6 years ago but his case was closed.
