A 2.3-magnitude earthquake struck near Honoe, Ontario, on Wednesday evening.

The quake struck around 8:27 p.m. on Wednesday, May 13, according to the US Geological Survey (USGS). The earthquake occurred at a depth of about 3.9 kilometers below the surface.

Honeoye is a small village within the town of Richmond, about 30 miles south of Rochester, New York.
