First, we start with breaking news from Greenville where a man has been kidnapped from a home. Pope Naomi was at the scene for hours. She lives there this morning. Naomi. Let’s jump right into the information we know from Greenville County Sheriff’s officials. We were told that in this house behind me, there was a man and a woman peering into that house. They came here last night around 11:00. This home is located on Paper Mill Road in Greenville, only about 15 minutes from downtown. When they arrived, two masked people carrying weapons appeared inside the house. They ended up taking or kidnapping that guy. The woman then left the home, went outside and called 911. We are still working to get new information, but we have been following this matter closely throughout the morning. We noticed several deputy investigators in vehicles making their way into the home early. Early this morning, we saw investigators take out the floodlights, walk around the property, inside the property. We even saw a car being towed from the property just 2 hours ago. So it’s still very much an active scene. Crews have been working here for several hours. We are monitoring this closely. Once we learn more information, we will share it with you. The one thing I will highlight that we are working to learn is whether there was any connection between the man, the woman and the alleged kidnappers. But once we have that, we’ll share it with you.
