Nearly 67,000 soccer fans rocked Seattle Stadium with screams, applause and jumps during the men’s World Cup match between the United States and Australia on Friday, their force powerful enough to produce seismic activity readings.

The roar reached its peak after American defender Alex Freeman scored Team USA’s second goal against Australia, according to the Pacific Northwest Seismic Network. Fans waited with bated breath when Freeman was initially ruled offside, then exploded in celebration after checking the replay that awarded the goal.
