Boris Johnson calls on parents in England to return their children to school – BBC News
British Prime Minister Boris Johnson has asked parents in England to send their children to school when they reopen their next classroom. He said the risk to children is very low, and that their development would be much more detrimental if they lasted longer. As some directors spoke, they said there was not enough guidance or funding to help prepare. Many students from Northern Ireland have returned to school today and will be going to Wales next week. In Scotland – where students have been back for two weeks now – there will be a face-to-face use in corridors and common areas in secondary schools. Reeta Chakrabarti education editor Branwen Jeffreys, Scottish correspondent Lorna Gordon and science editor David Shukman are presented with reports. Subscribe HERE .
