Manchester United captain Harry Maguire has dropped out of the England squad against Iceland and Denmark next month after a fight on the Greek island of Mykonos was found guilty of all charges. England’s manager, Gareth Southgate, said it was “in the best interests of all parties”. Maguir was sentenced to 21 months in prison after assaulting a police officer and attempting to buy him, along with his brother and friend. He says he will appeal.
