NASA has tested the rocket for the Moon mission – BBC News
Engineers have tested a booster rocket that will help the U.S. return to the moon in 2024, the first landing in more than 50 years. Two of these boosters are part of NASA’s massive Space Launch System (SLS) rocket, the largest launcher built from Saturn V in the 1960s. The giant Solid Rocket Boosters (SRBs) give the most impetus to the SLS space in the first two minutes. One of the rockets was fired on the ground for two minutes at a promontory in Promontory, Utah.
