BBC royal correspondent Nicholas Witchell says the prince and his wife flew to Scotland on Sunday, although they did not travel on a scheduled flight.

He added that both were tested on Monday and obtained the results last night.

A statement from the palace said: “The tests were conducted by the NHS in Aberdeenshire, which met the criteria for testing.”
