The Japanese Ministry of Health, Labor and Welfare today notified the World Health Organization (WHO) of a confirmed case of a new coronavirus (2019-nCoV) in a person traveling to Wuhan, China. This is the second confirmed 2019 nCoV case to be discovered outside China, following the confirmation of the case in Thailand on January 13.
